This is a post from 2018, to see my new edition visit my 2019 petite holiday gift guide post
Everyone knows that the best things come in small packages so that’s why I am doing a “Petite” themed holiday gift guide! While a few of the items on the list are geared toward petites, most of them are great “mini-sized” gifts for people of all shapes and sizes. I spent a lot of time cultivating the list and chose the products carefully. These are all things I have used, loved, and highly recommend (except the Gucci bag, it’s just something I really want as a gift to myself ;). Almost all the items are available on Amazon – your one stop shopping destination from the comfort of your couch. The items range from different price points (GUCCI BAG 😉 ) so there is something for everyone on your holiday list.

- Gucci GG Marmont Matelassé Leather Super Mini Bag $890 – A classic. No explanation needed here. The mini style is more affordable than the full size and is great for a night out. Whoever you get this for is sure to love you forever 🙂
- Say Hello To Sexy Legs Invisible Heels 1-1/2″H $20.00 –I bought these shoe inserts for Coachella last year and I am obsessed. I was wearing flat booties all weekend and I wanted to give myself as much height as possible. Seriously, if there is one time I hate being short, it’s at music festivals. I am usually getting pushed, stepped on, and spend half the festival staring at some 6’4 dude’s back trying to get a glimpse of the stage between the cracks of giants. Anyways, not only did these inserts give me some additional height and help elongate my legs, they made my booties SO much more comfortable. The additional support reduced my lower back pain after standing on my feet for 3 days straight. They come in different sizes ranging from ¾-1½ inches and are designed to fit into any above-the-ankle shoes, including winter boots, leather boots and high-top sneakers. A MUST item for any girl under 5’4.
- Let it Blow! It’s Drybar to Go The Ultimate Travel Essentials Kit $215 -I am OBSESSED with Drybar products. I’ve tried every shampoo/conditioner/blow dryer under the sun and I keep coming back to Drybar. This travel-sized kit has everything you need in terms of hair products for a trip, and fits nicely into any sized carry-on. The baby buttercup hair dryer is my favorite – honestly, I use it as my everyday blow dryer and it packs just as much power as the full-sized. This is a great gift for anyone who travels often.
- Voluspa Japonica Candle Archive Gift Set 12 Pack $75.00 -Voluspa candles are a favorite of mine. They have wonderful scents with high-quality ingredients sourced globally. I especially like that they are hand-crafted in California and have reusable containers. This little set of mini candles is so cute. It can be given as a sort of advent calendar-meant to open candle and burn a different scent the 12 days leading up to Christmas.
- Joy Mangano My Little Steamer Go Mini $19.99 – I used to avoid buying any garment that would wrinkle. I HATE ironing, in fact, I think I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve ironed in my life. Also, as someone who travels often, there is nothing worse than being in a huge hurry and attempting to figure out how to use a hotel iron. This travel-sized steamer has changed my life. It super compact and fits nicely into any suitcase. Just fill it up with a bit of water, plug it in, wait 30 seconds, steam, and wrinkles be gone! No fuss, no time wasted. It has enough steam (literally 😉 ) for 1-2 garments. I used it today on the red jumpsuit you see pictured here.
- Kate Spade Small Notepad – The Short List $8.41 -Experts say you should avoid putting too many items on your daily “to-do” list. If you decrease your “to-do” list to just three things a day, you are more likely to get them done. This is why I bring you “the short list” notepad. Seriously how cute is this? It’s a great gift to give to anyone to help them stay on top of their tasks and be more productive in 2019.
- Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Generation $49.99 – Alexa – please clean my room! Okay the Amazon Echo Dot can’t clean your room yet, but the voice-controlled speaker can do just about anything else. Ask Alexa to read the news, play music, control smart compatible devices and more. The Echo Dot is small and compact, so you can leave it anywhere around your house without it being a major eyesore.
- Michael David Petite Petit, 2015 $12.97 –Don’t let the name Petite Petit or price tag fool you, this petite sarah boasts a richly layered and concentrated palate. It has an abundance of fine grained tannins to support its opulent flavors of dark fruits and oaky spices. Full bodied but plush and soothing in texture, it blends in 15% Pertit verdot. This is a great gift to bring the host of any holiday party.
- I’d Rather Be Short: 100 Reasons Why It’s Great to Be Small $9.49 – As a small girl living in a tall world, sometimes it’s easy to focus on the challenges of being petite, instead of the benefits. Remind your petite friends the perks of being small with this adorable little coffee table book. Witty and heartwarming, I’d Rather Be Short is a celebration of self-acceptance—and an instant ego boost to pint-sized ladies everywhere.
- Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum Spray for Women, 3.3 Ounce $58.49 – LA PETITE ROBE NOIRE– Translation: The little black dress. Every girl needs one, and every girl should have a proper fragrance to go with it. This is the perfect perfume to compliment a little black dress – especially during the holiday season. The fragrance is a fresh and swirling floral lace, embroidered with sparkling fruity notes. Not too bold, but not subtle – perfect for any holiday occasion.
- All Nighter Rebound Travel Duo $19.99 – I was introduced to these sprays from a friend at a music festival a couple of years ago and I was hooked! Seriously this is the perfect duo for any long weekend (think bachelorette, festival, wedding, work conferences, tailgates, you name it) that will save both your skin and all that work you invested into applying your makeup. Start with the “All Nighter” spray. After applying your makeup, spray 3-4 times from a few inches away from your face and your makeup will stay in place for hours. Seriously – this little spray is your only defense to eliminate running/cracked makeup for those long days. I love it because its super light and doesn’t make it feel cakey or heavy either. The “Rebound”spray is a great complimentary product– making the perfect duo. There’s nothing worse than waking up after a day of wearing makeup for 18+ hours and feeling the texture of your dull, rough skin. This collagen-laced, radiance-boosting cocktail firms, smoothes and provides intense hydration while evening out skin tone. The travel sizes are perfect for trips since they pack light – and you only need a few spritzes per application, so they will also last for everyday use.
- PINCH Provisions Minimergency® Kit For Her $16 – I seriously never leave home without this kit. It’s super compact and can fit into any purse. It’s basically your entire purse contained into one cute little compact bag. It’s saved me dozens of times. The kit contains all of the following: adhesive bandage, safety pin, earring backs, deodorant towelette, nail polish remover pad, stain remover pad, clear elastics, lip balm, emery board, tampon, hair spray, clear nail polish, dental floss, mending kit, breath freshener, double-sided tape, and pain reliever. Honestly, what more could a girl need in a mini-emergency? 🙂
