Two weeks ago, I was invited to the Innisfree USA Grand Story Opening Preview Party in Santa Monica. Innisfree is a South Korean cosmetics brand owned by Amore Pacific. I actually use a number of Amore Pacific skincare products that I love and have even shared on my IG stories. That being said, I was excited to check out their Innisfree brand which is new to the US market.
The brand offers an array of beauty products using natural ingredients
responsibly sourced from Korea’s Jeju Island. The island has volcanic origins, and it is said that the it’s the mineral-rich water, and volcanic ash soil combined with ideal rain levels and moderate temperatures create the ideal environment for yielding natural, organic skincare ingredients.
The aesthetic of the Santa Monica store mirrors the brand’s natural and organic ingredients. You are greeted with a giant hanging green plant wall in the store front. Inside, the product displays are all made of beautiful natural wood and with green plants hang above. Everything is fresh, clean, and beautiful. The brand boasts an array of products ranging from skincare, haircare, and makeup.
I was gifted a goodie bag containing a number of their green tea skin care products. I wanted to wait to write my review until I had enough time to use the products and their results. So far, I have been really pleased with everything I used! Their green tea mask, serum, and creams hydrate nicely. I get super dry skin because I use a retinol so these products have all helped my skin from drying out. I especially love their green tea lip mask that has really helped clear up my chapped lips. They also gave me these fun Toy Story branded lip balms that are fun to carry around in my purse.
Another great thing about the brand – everything is affordable and very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of ingredients!
